Angrita Sherpa Has Died, Who Climbed Mt. Everest 10 Times Without Oxygen.

Angrita Sherpa, who has kept world record to climb Mt. Everest 10 times without supplementary oxygen has died on Sunday, 20th September,2020. .

Ang Rita Sherpa, who had climbed Mt. Everest 10 times without oxygen, has died on 4th Asoj 2077, Sunday at 10am. He died at his private residence in Jorpati at the age of 72, said Chhetu Sherpa, General Secretary of the Pasang Lamu Foundation.

He was born in Thamo, Solukhumbu. He had started climbing Mt. Everest since 1983. He was given the title of a snow leopard by the government after climbing Mt. Everest 10 times without oxygen. He was the first person to climb Mt. Everest 10 times.

He was recogniged by the Guinness World Record in 2017 as the person who climbed Mt. Everest 10 times without supplementary oxygen. As of 2020, the records stands till today.

Sherpahad been ill for a long time since three years and take break after government advised him not to go for mountaineering. And he took his last breath at 10am on 4th Asoj( 20th September,2020).
