According to the Pulchowk Police Office, Kamal Prasad Ghimire, a traffic policeman who was brutally beaten during the clash, is currently undergoing treatment at Alka Hospital. He had no role in controlling the crowd as he was a traffic policeman and he was going on a bike to manage the traffic and later the protesters stopped him and started beating him, leaving deep scars on his head and body. According to the police, the traffic police personnel are undergoing treatment despite being discharged from the hospital. During the clash, the protesters also vandalized the motorcycle he was riding in and lost the mobile phone he was carrying. Now the video of him being beaten is going viral.
