The human body is a complicated work of art. A lot is going on inside our body that we, re often not aware of that. Here we hope to explain one of the amazingly puzzling features of our body mechanism: Why nose run while we are crying?
Humans are attached to many emotions that can be sadness, happiness, fear, pain, and many others. They express their emotions, pain through crying which is a common way that helps to communicate what they are feeling in a way that language cannot.
While crying the tears are produced by lacrimal glands located above your eyes cleaning and lubricating the surface of the eye. Tears spread across the surface of the eye when you blink. They then drain into small holes in the corner of the upper and lower lids before traveling through small channels and down the tear ducts to the nasolacrimal ducts, which run down each side of the nose. In the nose, tear mix with the nasal mucus( also known as snot) and that’s when the nose gets stuff and we do a lot of sniffling, which finally tends to run nose. This is the reason why the nose run while we cry.
