Dancing with the stars Nepal, a Nepal Reality Show

The Nepali version of the premiere dance TV reality show Dancing with the Stars Nepal was revealed by BBC Studios in a thrilling update for Nepali TV lovers.

In this respect, the BBC has entered into an agreement with the Nepalese production company ANC Productions, which will produce and distribute the 26-episode show series in Nepal.

Ron Crasto, head of the New Business Growth, OTT and Digital Division of BBC Studios, South Asia, and Vivek Singh, Director, ANC Productions, have also signed an agreement for this reason.

For eight seasons now, we have been making Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the Hindi version of Dancing with the Stars, and are excited to see how it will be received in Nepal. We hope the Nepalese audience will embrace the new series, and expect the show to dazzle audiences in Nepal as it has in India,’ says Myleeta Aga, BBC Studios’ SVP and GM of South and South-East Asia.

In response, ANC Productions Director Vivek Singh said, “The people of Nepal have a tremendous love of dance and we are ready to captivate them with stellar performances.” Working with BBC Studios and being a member of the growing culture of Dancing with the Stars is a joy.

The dancing reality show has spread to 57 nations, internationally, with this contract.

This multi-award – winning reality show would see local celebrities competing in a dance competition in collaboration with experienced dancers. As part of the competition, to present them to the panel of judges to win the competition, the contestants will have to begin practicing new dance.
