Nepal’s Covid-19 Death Tolls 401 with 11 in 24 Hours, 62,797 Total Cases
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 45,267 people have recovered with 1,447 in past 42 hours.
As of today, the country has reached 62,797 cases of the covid-19 with 1,204 new coronavirus infections. 45,267 peoples have recovered with 1,447 in the past 24 hours.
According to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, during the press briefing on Saturday, he said the number of infected corona in Nepal has reached 62,797. Similarly, about 1447 people have discharged today.
10,333 PCR test has been done in the last 24 hours. Where 11 people have lost their lives in the past 24 hours. According to the ministry, 9 lakh 4 thousand706 tests has done by the PCR method wherein 10,494 testes were carried out in the last 24 hours. So far, the number of people in quarantine is 7,735 till today. Similarly, the number of actively infected people is 17,129.
The confirmed infected were more than half of the 796 males or 408 females. There are 570 cases in Kathmandu, 58 in Lalitpur, and 83 in Bhaktapur. Among them 278 are women. Similarly, 33 cases were found in Morang, 111 in Bara, and 45 in East Nawalparasi.
According to the ministry, Seven women and four men have been confirmed dead due to corona, they are between the age of 37 to 77.
The percentage of infected people’s death is 0.64 in Nepal. So far, about 72% of infected people have been cured. According to the ministry, patients with severe symptoms, 179 were in intensive care and 35 were on ventilators.
